Meet Emma Hernan, the Season Four Agent on 'Selling Sunset,' who is already in trouble with Christine
As we mentioned when we previewed the season four cast, many of the new agents joining the show are fresh-faced and ready to rock. We already took a look at Emma Hernan (one of five newcomers), but one person, in particular, stands out from the pack.
She's got long blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and an attitude that makes her feel like she's been on the market for years (she hasn't). Meet Christine Quinn's new rival: Emma Hernan.
By the time you read this, episode three of season four should have already aired on Bravo. If not, look for it online at Selling Sunset Online.
Since Emma is Christine Quinn's new rival, some fans are worried about what will happen to their beloved agent since she's so close with her costars Davina Potratz and Calli Vita (as well as other key people). As one fan puts it: "Emma is going to be a thorn in Christine's side! I wonder if she'll remain friendly with Calli? Or maybe she'll join forces with Vivica A Fox! That'd be quite an alliance!"
But it sounds like Christine isn't worried about the newcomer. She says that Emma seems nice enough and is a welcome addition to their team.
Who is Emma Hernan?
Hopefully, we'll find out more as the episodes continue rolling in. But for now, let's take a look at what little information we have on her. The most obvious thing you need to know about Emma Hernan is that she's a student – not of fashion – but technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
However, that doesn't mean she's completely green when it comes to the world of business herself, however. Before becoming an agent for Quinn Property Management, way before they were even in the United States, Emma started up her own real estate business.
The four companies our new agent is partnering with focus on helping people buy, sell and rent homes in the Indianapolis area. So while she may not be a designer herself, it looks like there's plenty of experience to be found in this young woman.
One thing that seems to stand out when fans look into Emma's background is that despite being featured prominently in many photos taken at Quinn Property Management events, she has no idea how they got there. As one person puts it, "she has no idea I've published her pic here since she doesn't have an active public profile."
So what does this mean? Are her parents pressuring her into staying away from the spotlight? Is she just a woman who wants to focus on her career and not be associated with all this drama? In an ideal world, we'd find out one way or another in the next couple of episodes.
So what does Emma have to say for herself? Well, according to our source, she doesn't know how to answer questions about this topic. But when pressed, she says: "I don't do social media. I have no accounts." So it sounds like things will stay that way for now – something which will probably disappoint many who want more updates on her life (and love life).
As far as whether or not fans should get attached, there's no doubt that we'll know more as the season continues. But for now, it doesn't seem like there's much reason to worry about her time here.
"I don't think she means any harm," Christine says in a recent interview. "She's just green and learning."
So if anything, it sounds like fans will be able to relax and enjoy watching Emma develop as an agent – at least until she gets herself into hot water with Christine or something else happens that sets off another cycle of drama on Selling Sunset.
